Established in 1929, Happy Workers Childcare Center provides children aged 2 months to 5 years and their families with childcare and early childhood education. It offers a wide range of programs, such as peace making at home and family literacy. The children get involved in a list of participatory events that lead to construction of knowledge. Based in St. Petersburg, Fla., the center also provides lunch, breakfast and dinner to the children. Its snacks include animal-shaped cookies and cubes. The supper provided includes corn brad, apples, lima beans and ham slices. Happy Workers Childcare Center s breakfast menu comprises Golden Grahams cereal, orange juice and milk. It serves over 170 students annually.
