Buddy was also a member of the Rotary Club of St. Petersburg and he served as a member of the Urban Solutions Task Force of the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce. He served as a board member of the Suncoast Center for Community Mental Health, was a member of the Suncoasters of St. Petersburg, was President of the Family Service Center of Pinellas County, and he was a longtime member of the Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) at Faith Covenant Church.
