I have always been drawn to photography as a visual language because of its capacity to say so much without saying anything at all. I love that photography brings me to new places, people and experiences. My recent and ongoing project I am working on is through a non-profit, Fostering Hope Florida. I have been photographing the foster kids in their home to give sponsors a glimpse into the lives they aid. I quickly became attached to their stories and helping them. The privacy and the creative ways to hide the identity of the kids due to the nature of their situations leaves me wondering about the silence that will follow them for years. Graphic Design is my second skill that I am proficient at. I love working with typography and hands-on creation methods merged into digital form. I am an Adobe Photoshop certified user and I have a certification in Commercial Art.
