St. Petersburg Christian School, established in 1971, serves students in kindergarten through eighth grade. Located in St. Petersburg, Fla., the school provides education in computer, Spanish, history, math and social science. It also provides programs for students with learning disabilities and conducts Bible education classes. The school operates several clubs and student organizations, including the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, National Junior Honor Society, an art council, band and yearbook. St. Petersburg Christian School offers a variety of sports activities, such as soccer, golf, volleyball, basketball, baseball, softball, cheerleading, and track and field. The school has a parent-teacher fellowship that sponsors cultural events and raises funds for the purchase of academic equipment. In addition, St. Petersburg Christian School provides guidance counseling and meals.
