Authentic German restaurant, German waitress wore a leiderhosen and provided hospitable and attentive service. Not only white linen tablecloths but the entire restaurant, bar, and kitchen were very clean. We had the Jager schnitzel, bratwurst, and fried potatoes. The salad was a marinated cabbage and green beans, light and flavorful. We arrived at 1230 on Sunday and were the only ones there for the first 30 mins, not sure why. Definitely a gem just off the highway. Highly recommend!

great food well worth the trip...

great food well worth the trip. we ate there the 1st time in 1981 and went there every 2 weeks till we moved in 1992 . now we drive to indiana and it is well worth the trip .
