The angry young woman, if that's even a fitting term for her, was very very rude to my family. My disabled aunt was walking around the store with her cane and grandaughter. She was not greeted or offered assistance. Upon finding her brand, my aunt wanted to buy a majority of cartons. Due to her disability, she asked her grandaughter to help her carry them to the register. Immediately, the angry cashier with an uncalled for snide attitude, said "Hey! That little girl can't do that! Put those down!" The girl began crying and left the store with her grandmother. In the five minutes we were in the store, this wasn't the only issue. My mother and I approached the register where open packs of cigarettes were displayed with a sign that read "try one." So, we lit our samples to taste, and again the angry woman cashier began yelling. "No! No!!! You can't do that here! Get outside NOW! Go! Get! Now!" I appologized, ran outside with our cigarettes and put them out to come back in. A minute later, the same cashier stood 10ft away telling her manager how "stupid" my mother and I were, and laughing. To be noted: There were no signs posted against anything we had done and after 5 years+ of our dedicated patronage, my family and everyone we know will be more than happy to go another mile down the road to avoid the most rude and trashy atmosphere in Salamenca.
