The Marion Co highway dept. is quite a joke. Roads are flooded all the time, culverts need replacing, but never get done and then you see the workers sitting in their trucks drinking coffee and taking breaks anytime of the day. And why do we pay high taxes???? Where is our money going? There is no reason to watch your driveway get flooded because the county won't fix the culvert. Or watch your garden go under water because the ditches get backed up due to a small culvert that can't handle the water flow from fields and other drainage. This is worse than ridiculous.
