Carol's expertise was essential in guiding me through my divorce. Her vast knowledge of the process, her working relationships with other attorneys and her intuition on local judges' rulings proved to be crucial to a successful divorce. She was patient and kind with each question I asked and valued my opinions and input along the way. I feel the result of my divorce was fair and the best possible outcome for myself, my son and my former spouse. Carol had a very practical approach which got my case resolved without incurring additional unnecessary expenses. I have referred friends to her and continue to do so. I very much enjoyed working with Carol, despite the circumstances for which I had to retain her. Her years of experience and her extensive knowledge left me a very satisfied client.

I was fortunate to have Attorney Perry handle my divorce. She listened to my concerns, very professional and made a difficult time in my life easier. I couldn’t recommend her more!!!!

I was a client of Carols' for 15 months and was under no illusion that I was her only client. But it became clear Carol's workload a negatively effected her work for me. There were several instances where I would provide her with information she requested to only have her ask for it again 2 or 3 days later. I feel Carol is more effective in her role as a divorce attorney when she is responsible to obtain assets for her client vs ensuring to retain maximum assets (in this case, mine).Finally, during this time Carol frequently told me her 32 years of experience would benefit me, meaning her hourly rate of $300 was worth it. My opinion is her 32 years of experience has made her complacent. Knowing the divorce laws and knowing how judges rulings will end, made her not willing to "think outside the box" for my benefit. She followed the usual procedures because she had a good idea of how judges would rule. With little effort shown to try all reasonable approaches for my benefit.

This is a cautionary review of my 15 months as a client of Carol Perry. It became clear her workload during this period of time was too much for her to adequately perform her duties for me in a timely and accurate fashion. There were numerous instances where I would provide her with information and 2 or 3 days later she would ask for it again. Even after I brought these concerns to her attention, it continued until the end. Also, I feel Carol is more effective in obtaining assets from the other party vs retaining the assets of her clients (me). I was genuinely surprised she didn't have the foresight to recommend issues I had to tell her to do. Finally, I feel Carol's 32 years of experience has resulted in a sense of complacency to adequately protect my interests. This resulted in her not trying every reasonable option to protect my interests. Without my input, I would have been at a greater disadvantage at the very end of this divorce. For $300 hour, I expected more diligence.
