Marvelous Lebanese food and great service. I would recommend this place to anyone without reservation.

My second visit to Jocelyn's & it was just as good as the 1st. For appetizers we had kibbie balls & hummus that we dipped w/ the complimentary pita bread. My wife had the Mediterranean pasta dish w/ mixed veggies & feta cheese. I had the Mediterranean grill mix w/ lamb, chicken & beef skewers & rice pilaf. The portions are huge & delicious so much food we had the leftovers for lunch the next day. Great service & a friendly staff. I would definitely be back again .......Loved it "Hidden GEM in Salem"

We went last Saturday night with two other couples. We all shared the Mediterranean Combo appetizer and everyone was impressed. My gf and I then shared the Mixed Mediterranean Grill (beef, kafta, & chicken skewers) with an additional skewer of lamb and everything was perfect. Two of the people are vegetarians and they had no problem finding a variety of choices. Desert was Lebanese baklava and it was authentic and excellent - just like my MIddle Eastern relatives used to make. (Greek baklava is much wetter and sweater than Lebanese/Syrian baklava.) This was by far the most authentic and best Middle Eastern restaurnat that I have visited. Service, as mentioned, was excellent and you do feel like a guest in someone's home. Cost was very, very reasonable and far less than one would expect given the quantity and quality.

I was meaning to try this place once it opened, and finally decided to after I received a mailing with their menu. I didnt realize it was family run until we walked in; the whole family works there! I had Gaby's chicken and my wife had the lamb skewers. Both were fairly priced with amazing portions. They also had a huge martini list, but opted for wine with our dinner.

We have never been disappointed at Jocelyn's. We have been going there since it opened and always take friends to show them how great it is. The food is great, the people wonderful, and the music reminds us of being back in the Mid East. The best hommus around! This is a keeper.....

This is one resturant that I keep coming back to. Not only is their food excellent, original and imaginative, it's also consistent in it's food quality and service. The staff is friendly and make you feel very welcome. This is THE place we bring out of town friends, where our daughter wants to go when she's home from college and where our children always want to go for birthday dinners. Great staff and cooks. NEVER a bad or marginal meal.

service was good but if you ate there when it was Phoenician you will find the food was better before.

My wife and I dined at the recently open Jocelyns in Salem NH on rte 28. It is a family run middle eastern restaurant. I had the baked kibbee and my wife had baked haddock. Both were excellent and the servings were large. The service was also excellent. We will go back soon

It was on an impulsive whim of mine, after I had been cooking all day, that my wife and I stopped by Jocelyn's restaurant earlier tonight and from the very 1st instant when Jocelyn greeted us, we knew that we had entered a comfort zone. The service was great, the food was great, we felt relaxed...even pampered. The family made us both very-very happy and we will return many timesand I will tell lots of people (I feed a lot of people and I have a big mouth!) I wish them only the greatest success.

This is not the Phoenician... or Bishop's. Menu is changed and at least for lunch heavily laden with wraps. Absolutely no problem with any of the food we ordered, but service is a bit ragged even tho we were served by Jocelyn. Ordered a Sam's (bottle, no draft available) and it came without a glass. No bread basket was offered even after our drinks came. That wonderful Mediterranean combo has been tinkered with. There are things available that aren't on the menu (the stuffed squash could still be ordered we found out later). Portions are still huge and everything is freshly made. French fries still good but seemed just a little different, perhaps not seasoned/salted(?). All in all, a work in progress still. We discovered that the Phoenician as we knew it is now in Haverill on Alpha St.

An upscale Martini Bar North of Boston. VERY COOL! Finally a place to go where you can get a little dressed up, and enjoy a great cocktail!Lebanese food was great too, grilled chicken kabob and hommus was the best I ever had. The owner came out to talk to us and we met the whole family. It was a really nice experience. We'll DEFINITELY be back!
