5 star all around. I love this pet shop. Owners are knowledgeable and not out to sell you what you don't need and have your pet's interest in mind. The selection is excellent and the service is wonderful.

The owners of this store run the business themselves and are friendly and helpful every time I visit. Although the store is small, their product selection is pretty varied. They have supplies that are useful, unique, healthy, and interesting, rather than a bunch of cheap "fluff" that the big box stores carry. Their prices are surprisingly low in comparison to chain pet stores that you would expect to be cheap! My son made a list of the supplies he needed for his new bearded dragon and took it to Pet Supplies Plus, Petsmart, Harbor Pet, and Petco on a trip to Boardman. Pure Pet's prices were lower on every item! My friends and I love this store because the owners don't try to sell you a bunch of unnecessary items just to make an extra buck. They try to give you ideas to make your own items or ways to find them used. The animals at the store are well taken care of and seem very friendly and socialized. There is a good variety of creatures. On our visits, they seem to keep in stock rodents (such as hamsters, gerbils, mice, rats, chinchillas), guinea pigs, ferrets, kittens, turtles, tortoises, lizards, snakes, amphibians, tarantulas, scorpions, and some small birds to name a few.
