I took my wedding dress here and she did a horrible job! She charged me $50 to take in the sides which she completely botched, and then when I came to pick it up and it was still about 3 sizes too big in the chest she told me it was impossible to fix, and what did I want her to do about it? I will never go here again. She should have given me my money back. I ended up taking it to another seamstress in town who took it in on the sides and chest and made me a sash for $60! Don't use this business.

She may be quick - as the quality of her work reflects that. She ruined 3 of my skirts. Hemed the skirts lining into the skirt hem, so now it doesn't lay right. I had to throw one skirt out and rehem another skirt and a pair of pants. Total loss to me about $85-$100. I was also upset that she couldn't give me a price over the phone or when I dropped the items off. Had I known the cost ahead of time I would have reconsidered.

Annie is wonderful! I took in a maid of honor dress and 2 pairs of my husbands pants, and she did not charge me. She is incredibly knowledgable and also quite funny! Don't be fooled that her business is inside her house; she is amazing and will get all of my sewing business from here on out. I'm also taking my wedding dress to her for fitting!

My daughter was getting married and I was desperate. A dress I had worn as a matron of honor I thought would be appropriate if it was made shorter and altered...I didn't care what it cost at the time as I was in a pinch at the time. I found Natalie's Tailor shop by going to Joanne's craft store in south salem. She could have charged me well over $100.00 to do what needed to be done. However, she came up with not only a better solution but gave me a hem that was shorter in the front and it came to a V like hem in the back plus fixed the top of the dress instead of remaking it. It turned out BEAUTIFUL and received so many compliments at my daughter's wedding. Her fee was so reasonable it was unreasonable.I will go NOWHERE else and over the last two years I found that EVERYONE loves her with her thick accent. What a joyful experience.Who would ever think you could have so much fun at a tailor shop. Since then I have watched her do miracles for customers. You won't rbe sorry!

My wife is a costumer for the Pentacle Theater. When she is in a pinch and needs a quick costume alteration, Natalie Tailor Shop is a life saver. My wife began bringing her own clothes for alteration when she lost weight and the proprietor has always provided quick quality work. It seems that every time we are at the shop we run into people we know. It seems that everyone is beginning to find out about one of Salem's secret gems. Natalie Tailor Shop embodies old world work ethics with a modern sense of style (check out thier original creations as well).

What she advertises is really what you get. I needed a pair of dress slacks hemmed for a get together that same day. I had fully intended to leave them and return to pick them up. She told me to sit and wait for it. She did it so quickly, it was unbelievable. She didn't charge extra for this service. You should really give her a try. Great service--I'll be back.
