I was at the restaurant on Thu...

I was at the restaurant on Thursday, May 8, 2014 and Bethany was my server. After my first bowl of soup, when asked if I wanted another I said no...and she replied "smart choice." I am a morbidly obese woman. Would she have said that to someone not my size? I don't know. I am used to being talked down to or treated differently because of my size, so I wasn't as offended as I maybe should have been, but my son was livid. The Manager apologized and tried to make it right by comping what we had of the meal before we left and giving us a gift card. I may go back or may not. The restaurant shouldn't really be held responsible for the actions of a staff in this situation I don't think, but I now associate the place with being humiliated.
