Salina High School South is located in Salina, Kan., and is affiliated with the Salina Public Schools. The school provides academic programs to more than 1,200 students in grades nine through 12. It provides a wide range of sports activities, such as basketball, baseball, cross country, football, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, volleyball, wrestling, and track and field. Salina High School South has several student clubs, including art, German, Latin, chess, young politicians and diplomacy club. The school also has a library that provides books, magazines, online indexes and resources, a computer lab, website tips and book reviews. The high school provides an assortment of courses, such as English, economics, geography, science, mathematics, physical education, foreign languages, business and fine arts. It also offers family and consumer science, and career and technical education to students.
