Established in 1887, St. John's Military School is a private boarding military school located in Salina, Kan. The school provides academic and social education to more than 200 students in grades seven through 12. It offers academic classes in industrial arts, English, speech, physical education, chemistry, reading, math, social studies, computer skills, arts and Spanish. The school encourages student participation in various clubs and activities, such as band, the color guard, drill team and cultural trips. It organizes a range of sports programs that include football, basketball, wrestling, cross country, golf, tennis and bowling. St. John's Military School has a counseling department that assists students on college placement and scholarship issues.
