We have been bringing our dogs to THE DOGHOUSE kennel for several years now. Janet and her wonderful staff provide all the necessary care one would expect from a boarding kennel and MORE! They took the time to get know our dogs. (one crumudgeon, and one very scared rescue) Our dogs actually like going there to be boarded. The facility is always clean,and the staff friendly The roomy runs provide an indoor/outdoor space, that let our little guys exercise both their bodies and their vocal chords. Air-conditioned in the summer, and warm and cozy in the winter. One of many features we appreciate, is that we are able to bring ALL the comforts of home when our dogs come to stay...toys, blankets, beds, their favorite food and most importantly their "treats". When our four legged children see us gathering up all of their "overnight" gear and head for the car, they begin twirling and barking in anticipation. It's funny to watch! Our dogs are a very special part of our family, as typical of "dog people". We trust The Doghouse to take care of them as if they were their own. It's comforting to watch the staff interact with the pets in their care. And just how attentive to details they are about how to reach you, what veterinarian you use, and whether everyone is up-to-date on their vaccinations. Well, I could go on and on about The Doghouse...but will instead highly recommend that you check out their facility as well. I'm sure Janet will be glad to give you a tour and answer any questions you may have. I know you will be as pleased as we are at what you find.
