My child loves going to dance class at FOF every week. She is involved only in their recreational program and she has learned so much! I enjoy that they have an impressive competition Team and that trophies line the walls. It shows the dancers that hard work pays off. The staff is great and the owner is very organized. The end of the year showcase is one of a kind. Highly recommend.....

Feet of Fire (FOF) has a performance troop (PT) of about 80 girls. Students audition for PT and they are pretty good. If your child is not in PT, expect the classes to be 20+ students. My child danced at FOF for several years and was not in performance troop. Her classes were huge, so huge you couldn’t see all the dancers on stage at the annual show. In these large classes, the teachers do not really teach – they demonstrate at the front of the class. If your child picks up the moves, great! If your child does not pick up the moves, the teacher will not likely correct placement, technique, etc. Also, if a new student joins, with no dance experience, that student will be placed in the class for the appropriate age, regardless if the other students in the class have danced 5+ years. The class gets slowed down for the beginners. Also, the annual show is 4 hours long! Most of the show is the performance troop. AND expect to wait in line for tickets for at least 4 hours. Some of the performance troop dance parents actually get in line for tickets 24 hours in advance! CRAZY. This may be THE dance studio of the Eastern Shore but only if you are the select few in performance troop. If your child is not in performance troop do not expect to receive quality instruction. The classes are simply too large. This studio appears to be more and more all about the money.

Hancock Fabrics is a great craft/fabric store. The frequent sales they have are hard to beat. The have an extensive selection of fabrics and craft supplies to choose from. The website is nice as well.
