Parkside High School, opened in 1975, offers classes in social studies, English, mathematics, foreign languages, marketing, science and business education. Additionally, the high school provides lessons in music and technology and physical education. The school s facilities include a media center, cafeteria, auditorium and guidance office. Parkside High School promotes the physical development of students by organizing several sports programs, such as tennis, track and field, football, hockey, soccer, baseball, softball and basketball. The school also maintains a parent-teacher association. The high school serves more than 1,000 students in grades 9 through 12. Parkside High School is located in Salisbury, Md.
