The Utah Arts Council, located in Salt Lake City, combines state and national funds to support arts in the state of Utah. The council acts as a state coordinator and advisor, and assists with professional development programs. It provides direct grants to more than 200 nonprofit organizations across the state. The Utah Arts Council conducts various programs and provides more than 500 outreach services, including financial assistance. It provides services to schools, local arts councils and organizations, community centers, performing groups, and individual artists. The council assists art organizations, groups and individuals throughout the state.
