poor CUSTOMER SERVICE!! On 12/22/2015@ approximately 11:52 AM, I went to Kroger on 4115 Columbia Rd in Martinez, GA. Their Telephone number is 706-863-9635. I bought two American Express cards each for the $180.00 and $4.95 activation fees were paid. Upon getting home, only one card was found, but activation receipts for both were in a bag with only one of the cards (ending #5218). Card ending in #5200 was not found in the bag or any of the other grocery bags. I immediately went back to the store and according to manger it appeared that cards were placed in a bag along with the eggs. That is where the one card and receipts were found. I was told to call 1-877-297-4438 and report this for refund. I returned home and I called and spoke to someone who asked for the number starting with six zeros on the card! Please we do not have card, we only have the following on the receipt; stars and last 4 numbers of 5200 and 6 zeros for authorization number. Individual gave me a fax number to send receipts and my ID. The fax number of 1-866-840-4438 was tried until 2300 hrs. and I started again on 1-23-2015 after breakfast to no avail. My wife called 12-22-2015 and "Bryon" requested that she open other card and read all numbers to him from that card. That individual was able to see the missing card number and authization numbers, and activation numbers. He also asked for the above information to be faxed. THIS AM I SPOKE WITH "ALBERT", who requested all the same information as yesterday. When numbers for missing card could not be given, I was informed I had only 3 days to get infomation to them. FAX SAYS NO ANSWER and he his reply waws he could not assist us. My spouse requested to speak to a supervisor, Gary. He too said without seeing information he could not help us and to continue faxing.! My spouse requested and received the address that is on this site. This may not seem like much to you, but we are both retired and my spouse is disable, These cards were all we had for our daughter and son. Yes I bought another car, but that money makes us have to make decisions that affect our medications and which bills to be late on. We will send information by mail and we will keep trying to a :no answer" number hopefully you will reimburse with another activated card or monies. Your rating from these two senior citizens is less than zero at the present. We are also contacting the BBB here in Augusta, GA. Hope your holidays are what you intended!
