Made the mistake of stopping by with my wife on "Girl's Night." (We didn't know until we saw the sign on the door.) A quick glance through the window, and I could not discern any kind of event; people (women) just happened to be perusing printed works and I hoped to do the same. My mistake. I was called an "interloper" and received a few hairy eyeballs. Perhaps I should have taken the situation with a bit more humor, but I am new to the area and the welcome from the bookstore was as cold as the winter weather.
