WORST MANAGEMENT AND BUSINESS PRACTICES - BEWARE!

The Covey requires a $150 holding fee that will not be refunded after 48 hours, there is no document provided or signatures required for this HOLDING FEE - total scam. They do not provide a Lease for you to review until AFTER the 48 hours on the holding fee have expired. You are not made aware of the ridiculous mandatory add-on fees, such as a $25 a month garbage fee and a natural gas fee that is split up among ALL of the tenants. You cannot control the heat in your apartment. You are paying for everyone's heat or lack there of - see the comments of other renters below. I was told that the $150 holding fee would not be refunded after deciding not to move in, not because The Covey Apartments failed to provide a Lease at the same time requiring a signature on a Receipt of Lease, but because I made the one of the agents cry over her lack of proper business practice.
