Horrible place all around. They should be closed down and not allowed to groom or board dogs. I have been there a few times when other people get their dogs back with bites on them, etc. We generally take our golden to get groomed and they seem to do a decent job. Today's experience was completely unprofessional. The owner, who is also the groomer was too busy to talk to my wife when we dropped off our 8 month old golden doodle. So, the person at the front desk took notes, supposedly. We specifically asked to keep our puppies hair nice and long for the winter to help her stay warm and because she looks adorable...we needed a minor trim and even provided a picture as an example. When we picked her up she was completely shaved!



The owner was again too busy to talk with me and they offered me a free jacket for our puppy. I then called back when I got home and again the owner was too busy to talk to me. Worst of all the front desk staff were rude and kept saying they understood while also not allowing me to complete a sentence. Now my puppy looks like a 10 or 12 y/o dog and these are many months of puppy hair that were taken away from us. Worst of all they did not even do a good job of buzzing her hair as she has random patches of fur between her paws and chunks of hair taken out where they did leave it a bit longer. WTF!!!

Dogs R Us is the best daycare/boarding/grooming place in Salt Lake, hands down. if you have a young/energetic dog like me, it can be hard to give them enough of an outlet. I take my dog Holly running, walking, hiking, and to dog parks on a regular basis, but it's often times still not enough. In addition to including her in my active lifestyle, I give Holly a couple days a week of daycare at Dogs R Us so she's not getting bored while I'm at work. Dogs R Us has done such a good job taking care of her at daycare that I've taken all of my haircutting business there as well, which they have also excelled at. Their prices are already low, but when you catch them on a sale, the deals are simply excellent. This is a business that I like to support and I will continue to do so in the future.

Love Dogs R Us. We send our dog Thor there 4 to 5 times a week. Thor is a bit of a special needs dog, as he has seizures. The crew at Dogs R Us pay special attention to him on the days when he is extra unsteady, and that we appreciate. And Thor loves it, as he practically drags us from the car into the building every morning. All in all, glad we found this gem of a daycare facility in Salt Lake. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking to board their dog.

I recently started taking my rescue dog, Olie, to Dogs R Us. He was spending a lot of time home alone, and started having separation anxiety. Dogs R Us has been a lifesaver! Olie loves to go and play with other dogs all day. He is excited when we pull into the parking lot, and he is exhausted when I pick him up after work. The staff is friendly, and it is clear that they all love dogs. I highly recommend Dogs R Us for daycare.

We've been taking our dog Andy to Dogs R Us since 2008, starting when he was a puppy. He loves everyone there and looks forward every day to going to play with his friends. We also love that we can get him groomed there as well. We would be lost without Dogs R Us!

Super friendly staff, and more importantly, my dog loves going here. I drop him off hyper and excited, and by the time I pick him up, he is tired from all of the playing and interacting with other dogs and subsequently very cuddly. It looks like he found some real friends with the other dogs there and gets a ton of exercise, as well as socialization. Which is really important to me, because at home he is mainly alone. Finally they are very flexible with my work / travel schedule, which is truly appreciated. Would definitely recommend to any dog owner.

My dog Captain loves going to Dogs R Us so much that he wants to go daily and when we take him he can barely contain himself in the car ride there. The staff is awesome and do a great job with him because at times he can be handful. The grooming service is great too because he can get his nails done or get a bath and then it is back to playing. The best part of all is when we bring him home and he is so exhausted that he can barely stay awake that night.

I have been bringing my dog to Dog’s R Us for daycare and boarding since 2010. My dog, Miles, always loves going to play – he is happy to get there and happy when we pick him up. I also like that I can have his nails clipped or a full grooming while he is there. I appreciate that Miles loves the staff at Dogs R Us and it is obvious that they love him in return. I would recommend Dogs R Us to anyone looking for a good doggie daycare.

My dog loves coming to Dogs R Us. The dogs all get along well with each other and my dog fits right in the pack. I have tried to board my dog at other places but the stress level my dog has when I am out of town is high. I hate leaving him anywhere because I feel sad knowing he is scared and lonely. Those days are over! Now that I have found Dogs R Us my dog looks forward to his over night sleep overs and baths. When I return to pick him up he is all excited and smells great.
