First Step House is an organization based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. The center offers in-patient, out-patient and post-recovery services for patients struggling with some form of chemical dependency. The main focus of the organization towards its patients is to achieve 100% recovery from addiction. The center helps patients recover from addiction through different programs like Residential Treatment, Transitional Housing, Veteran Services and Outpatient Treatment. The center also offers services such as Addiction Education Classes, Individual Therapy, Group therapy, connecting people to recovery support groups, transportation services, family counseling, long term supportive services, community based activities, 12-step classes, drug testing, and addiction education classes. They accept all modes of payment as well as MedicAid and have tie ups to offer assistance to those who qualify. They also accept donations.
