I just started going here for equipment but, even though prices can be a tad high on some things, I like the place, the atmosphere and I do get employees that know their stuff. That's my biggest complaint about other stores, whether for gear or not, just finding someone that knows the product and cares. Kirkham's has many of both. I will return for sure and recommend.

I purchased a pipe frame and wall tent canopy from Kirkham Outdoors back in the 90’s. Was a very dissatisfied customer due to a poor product and terrible customer service. I have a YouTube video which will explain the terrible product. BUYERS BEWARE!!! DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE. Kirkham's fills their roll well. They cater to the outdoor recreation crowd and cover needs, wants and fluff nicely. They also carry a wide variety of supportive sandals and hiking shoes and their service is great. I had a problem with a sandal and the quickly fixed the problem with no questions asked. Their tents are good quality and last a long time.
