Provided by YP.comThey have a very large selection, but the lady working there yelled at me because a poorly stacked book fell 6 feet away from me while I was looking at something else. She rushed over and looked at it, and old me I was lucky it didn't bend the corners or I would've had to buy it. I asked if they had last weeks issue of Batman which wasn't on the shelf, and they took 15 minutes in the back to get one.
Go to Dr Volts. They are they friendliest, most helpful shop I have been to.

Provided by YP.comThis is a long review: the short version is: The amount of selection does not do anything to make up for the worst management I have ever witnessed and the Worst possible woman to work in a comic book store. Sadly she is the owners wife, so this will not change any time soon.
I've been shopping at Night Flight for the better part of two years, and will try my best to never do so again. Today I witnessed the manager berate her employee in front of customers (I was literally on the other side of the counter, 3 feet away) and snap at customers for simply looking through their stock (she thought she heard them opening one of the comic books... Yes, that's really why she jumped down their throats). I understand having issues on the self be in bags and boards can be time consuming, but none of their competition has issue with customers opening and looking right at the books.
They charge a $20 fee to open a "hold" box but constantly missed issues, causing us to have to hunt down something we should have been getting on schedule (they also berated us for buying these issues at other stores). They also sell comics out of other customers "hold" if they hadn't been picked up soon enough. This in itself defeats the purpose of having a hold with a comic book store.
It essentially comes down to feeling welcome in a store. My fiance and I spend over 200 dollars on books a month in comic book stores, yet never felt like we were appreciated as customers. The manager is a battleaxe, and while her husband appreciates her company, perhaps they should rethink having her manage a store that sells such a luxury item. As I expand outward to other stores, I hear nothing positive about Night Flight from customers and employees. Stores like Black Cat Comics, or Dr. Volts generally have positive things to say about eachother, even when they don't want to send a customer elsewhere. Night Flight is hated by nearly everyone I have talked to outside of their store.
I encourage you to take your business to Dr. Volts. Yes its farther north, but their prices are generally better and their service is infinitely better. If you want to try a shop in Salt Lake Valley, I implore you to try ANY of the following instead of this place:
Dark Soldier Comics: 8585 S State St, Sandy, UT 84070 - (801) 330-2068
Black Cat Comics: 2261 Highland Dr, Salt Lake City, UT 84106 - (801) 461-4228 Dr. Volts Comics: 2043 E 3300 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84109 - (801) 485-6114
