This was honestly one of the most horrible experiences of my life. THESE ARE NOT CONTRACTORS. Pibi tile was late on everything, slow, rude, and in the end, I didn't even let them finish the project because I was so fed up with everything and took a hit on the money they had already taken from me just so I didn't have to deal with them any longer. Maybe they are good at tile, but not a thing else. Save your money, time, and tears, and avoid them if possible.

PIBI Tile did a wonderful job on our master bathroom remodel. The tile looks absolutely amazing! Rafael helped us pick out the perfect color, style, and type of tile for our bathroom and Luis made sure our bathroom turned out exactly the way we wanted it. Thanks so much Raul for another amazing tile addition to our home!

Do not expect prompt service. I made an appointment a week in advance for tile to be laid at 9:00am on friday. I called the owner at 10 am and he said that one of his trucks broke down and that the tile would be installed at 2pm on friday. I called the owner again at 3pm and he said his guy had picked up some extra work and that the tile would be installed at 8am on Saturday. The tile installer finally showed up at 9:30am on Saturday.

You should also expect a lazy work ethic. The installer had 90 sq ft of tile to install. I did the demo and he was supposed to tile upto the carpet line. After installing 99% of the tile he saw that he had a 2 inch left on the backerboard. I askede if he could tile it but he said the carpet guys would carpet over the backerboard. I had no experience working with professional tile installers so I took him at his word. He was wrong, the carpet installers said they would not place carpet on backerboard. When I called the owner and told him about this development he said he was not going to send a guy out to install 2 inches(about 1 sq ft) of tile, he would be losing money. He said he would have his grouters cut the backerboard back to where the tile ended. I was later told that this is what some people call lazy tiling. They didn't want to put forth the effort because they just got plain lazy.

You should also expect sloppy technique. The grouting guys showed up 5 hours late, they were supposed to grout at 9:30am and showed up at 1:30pm. When they did, one guy started to "remove" the excess bacckerboard with a screwdriver and hammer and then chipped one of the tiles. While the other person grouted, the second guy replaced the chipped tile in a adhoc sort of manner and then proceeded to grout the newly replaced tile. After this was done they proceeded to wash the tile off with dirty water.

After all this, I paid what he asked for just so I could get this joke of a tile company out of my hair. Others feel that I should have told him to correct his oversights and that I should not have paid until he did but everytime I brought this point up he dodged to the issue completely. He tried to make it sound like it was my fault that his tile layer did not tile to the edge of the backerboard. When I held him to the mistakes that were made he said that to correct them would cost too much money.

If you want a fast, reliable, professional tile installer, this business is not it. After seeing their work I have concluded that anyone to do a better job if they go to Home Depot and buy $200 worth of tile tools. After paying $6/sq ft for this job I feel like I only got $1.50/ sq ft of work. This contractor is not worth your time.....Trust Me.
