25-years ago we began brewing our distinctive craft beers in downtown Salt Lake City. That makes us one of the pioneers of Utah’s innovative craft beer culture. Although it’s never been our intent to be the biggest brewery in the West, with more than 75 gold, silver and bronze medals; there’s no doubt we’re one of the best.Red Rock Brewing Co. is just blocks away from all downtown hotels and the Salt Palace Convention Center. Let me start by saying, it's a bar, not a fine dinning restaurant. If your looking for a good place for drinks and an appetizer than you will have a good time. The food is average, but their burgers and onion rings are killer. Take a friend and enjoy

Slow service, good food. I ...

Slow service, good food.

I always love the macadamia encrusted salmon (because it is good!), but when I see the bottom of my Diet Coke ...nobody wins.

They took a long time to take our order, make it, refill drinks and get us the check.

The French Onion Soup Sandwich? DELISH. So glad the husband got this so I could try it. The onion rings are also really yummy.

Great vibe in this place--loud, busy and lots of fun ...I just wish we had had better/faster service.

Poor service

We had dinner with another couple and asked to split the bill. We were not aware that if you ask this you are automatically charged 15% on your bill. When we received our bill we asked to speak to a manager about this policy and he argured with our table loudly and was quite rude to our dismay on this policy. We enjoyed the food but the service was of poor quality. Our server did not speak english well and had many problems with our requests. Will never eat there again do to the very poor behaviour and response to our complaint.
