I have never been treated so great, as I am when I shop at this store. Jim (store manager) is AWESOME!! He works side by side with his staff,you can find him all over the store even giving the person who is working the gas station a break.He is very hands on, which in my opinion is terrific, his staff seems to really like him He is always smiling all the time, he's a great man.I am very impressed with David (produce dept.) he is always friendly, happy and smiling,very personable and funny man. He is very knowledgable with all of the produce items, where they come from, how to cook them, what you put them in , weather it be soup,salad or enjoying it raw, He's wonderful!! Tyran is super woman!! That woman can do anything, she is able to work in any and all the departments. I saw her working so hard for days to get customer's to sign up for the 'new' fresh value's card, she is always smiling and happy. I normally go to Smith's in mid-morning or early afternoon and enjoy that time frame. But... I have gone into the store after 5 p.m. and did not like the evening staff. They dont smile, acknowledge your presence or for that matter speak to you.There is a male customer service manager, who works the evening, he may be of middle east desent, he NEVER EVER smiles, never asks you if you need assistant's, doesnt even acknowledge!!! POOR POOR customer service. So I prefer to shop in the morning, mid-afternoon, where the WONDERFUL staff is... From the pharmacy to the deli, to the bakery and meat dept, THIS STORE ROCKS!!!!
