Shane's love of reptiles began as a child who loved to catch and chase snakes and lizards in Utah. His fascination grew with his raising of a pet iguana named "Horse". Shane wants to share his knowledge and love of reptiles. He knows that knowledge can clear up the misunderstandings that many people have about these animals. Scales and Tails take a naturally educational program and make it exciting. We don't want to just stand in front of a classroom and give facts; we make our presentations so that they are a unique interactive experience. We take a naturally educational program and add skits, songs and stories to make it exciting. Our presentations are tailored to children and young adults. Each program is developed with the age group in mind, so that we speak to them at their level.
