About Skycall Communications SkyCall Communications provides satellite telephones, GPS Trackers and a variety of other communication and safety products. Skycall began in 2002 when owner, Russ Smith, wanted to see more of the outdoors and be able to call home. Since then, sales and rentals have continued to increase every year. SkyCall sells both Iridium and Globalstar phones. Since SkyCall's inception, there have been many instances where unfortunate circumstances have been prevented because someone rented a satellite phone.
