Provided by YP.comAwesome service!! I am so happy that a neighbor recommended Sorensens when I was looking for new flooring. I needed both carpet and tile, and was really hoping I could get it installed before the holidays. Their store was easy to find, and both Soren and Dennis were knowledgeable and helpful. Dennis showed me the options available in the price range I told them I was looking for, and went over all the features of the different carpets. They were so patient when I couldn't decide between two colors for the tile! The installers that came to my home were clean and professional, and they went out of their way to clean up after the job was done. I love this new carpet and tile, it's almost like having a new house! It is so refreshing to deal with real people, no hard sell, no gimmicks, just good honest service. I will definitely recommend Sorensens!

Provided by YP.comAfter looking for flooring, I spoke with a contractor that builds expensive homes. He told me that a customer he was building a custom home for wanted to use Dennis for his flooring. The builder was a little hesitant, but agreed to use him. After seeing Dennis's work, he was very impressed. He referred me to Dennis at Sorensens Floor Coverings. They did a GREAT job!!. Their service was first class from the moment I walked in the door until the job was complete. They were professional, friendly, affordable, and timely. Later when I bought a house out of state, I called and spoke with them. I knew they wouldn't be able to come all the way back east to to a job, but they were very helpful in sending me in the right direction.

Provided by YP.comI ordered tile through Sorensons from Dal Tile since they are a dealer for Dal. I paid cash for some tile my customer had chosen. Dennis told me it would take one week for this special order tile. One week later I went to pick up my tile from Dal and they told me "This tile is on back order. It is about three more weeks out. We spoke to Sorenson's yesterday and they told us that they spoke with you and that that would be fine".
I drove to Sorenson's and talked to Dennis. He said "I didn't have your number so I told them that would be okay".
I called my client who was expecting their tile that same day they were told to expect it. They told me "forget it. We no longer need your services".
I had already borrowed a tile saw, gotten spacers, thinset, grout, and cleared my day to install the tile. I also had spent much time and gas on preparing for this job.
The following day Sorenson's called me and told me they had a check for me. I drove back there and picked up a check even though I had paid cash and all Dennis had to say to me was "shi# happens".
My time and money didn't mean a thing to them. I wouldn't recommend them to any one if they were the last place on earth!!!! Don't EVER go here if you value your time, money, or customer service.
I completely understand the frustration of this customer. And do apologize for his inconvenience. Special orders and back orders can be very frustrating for all of us. I know that proper communication is the key to eliminating most of the frustration. Where we were at fault, is failing to get the customers phone number when he placed the order. With out his number, no communication was possible until it became a problem. We had no way to communicate with him until he contacted us. By then it was too late. The damage was done. Knowing that we had failed to meet his deadline with his customer, we promply issued him a refund. I do feel like this is an isolated case and does not reflect the way we do business. The majority of our business involves special orders, and communicating with our customers and keeping them current on their orders is very important. In most cases I think we do a good job at it. If our customers are not satisfied with our service, we have failed. For the past 29 years we have built our business on the referrals of satisfied customers. Our moto has always been: "Our success depends on your satisfaction"
