Provided by YP.comMy husband and I took our 3 kids tubing at Wilderness Cove and had a wonderful family memory made there. The people that worked there were down to earth, helpful and friendly. You can tell that they genuinely care about their customers that come in there. We were provided with life jackets for our kids, which was great. They had a small store, which was great because we had forgotten our child's' water shoes and were able to buy some water and shoes there. We appreciated that there was a place to shower and change afterwards. We are definitley planning on taking our children back on a regular basis and making more solid family memories. It was great fun, for those who are into outdoor type activities. :)

Provided by YP.comDo yourself a favor and don't even waste the $7 per person to take this tube ride - THERE ARE TONS BETTER TUBING COMPANIES HERE! My sister, our husbands and our 3 kids (ages 6-10) went tubing and they all fell out of the tubes and banged their heads on the rocks in the river - even with 4 adults trying to hold them (and ourselves) in.
Turns out there were Class 2 rapids - which isn't bad if you are expecting it but when you have 3 kids in tubes and you think you are out for a leisurely trip down the river, it isn't fun - it's dangerous. The WORST thing is that after the trip, we went in to talk to the owners to let them know that it was pretty rough for kids. The wife (Christy) admitted they knew it was rough and that she should have said something to us. I told them I was kind of shocked that they knew about the bad conditions but didn't care enough about the kids' safety to tell us or suggest helmets. Her husband/co-owner said "you signed a waiver-you can't sue me" and then said "b*tches will be b*tches." NOT kidding - he REALLY said that!
Let's just say that I won't EVER go back there again.
Should have stayed with Green River Cove Tubing - they are a little bit farther up the road but worth it because they are nice. They certainly have never told me I was a b*tch and never acted like my children's safety wasn't important.
Drive the extra 100 yds!
