I was pretty disappointed with the food we got from Fuentes Cafe. My husband and I ordered carry out. He got the bean burrito with cheese (and extra 1.00 just for cheese!!) and the beef tacos. I got the shrimp enchiladas. My order came with refried beans and Spanish fried rice. The rice was okay. The beans tasted like refried beans from a can to be honest. I got the sour cream sauce on my enchiladas and it was absolutely repulsive. It had a curdled texture to it that was disturbing, and tasted like it had gone bad. The shrimp was extremely overcooked, and almost rubbery in texture. There was nothing IN the enchiladas besides the shrimp, it was dry as all heck, over cooked, and what sauce they did put on it (nasty as it was) was sparse, to say the least. My husband did like the tacos. Aside from the tacos nothing about the food was all that great. If I'm going to pay $14 for one dish (the shrimp) I would expect it to be cooked properly. I don't think we will ever order from here again.

Not worth $$$.

Can you believe that cup of soup-- a very small cup of soup, I might add-- is a whopping $4.49 + tx?! Yeah, that's a bit much for a somewhat tasteless soup. On the plus side, the atmosphere was okay; the staff needed a little work, but they certainly were not the worst I've dealt with over the years, and the chili was very good. Still, I cannot help but think that this place could stand to do better business by lowering their prices at least a little. I mean, their food is okay, I guess, but not $4.49 per cup okay.
