Provided by YP.comScott Hardin and 5-H Remodeling has scammed yet another. We paid him tens of thousands of dollars (shame on us!) for work which he never came close to finishing and ran off with the rest. He should be locked up in jail for what he's done to all of us. Stay away from this guy; he is pure poison and has inflicted untold misery on us. I've complained to the BBB (the 6th such complaint in one year alone) and have hired a lawyer to petitiona a lawsuit. Anyone else scammed by this scam artist can join forces with me in this litigation. United, we might recover some damages and make sure this guy doesn't have the opportunity to prey on other elderly people. Send an email to [email protected] and help stop this criminal.

Provided by YP.com5H Remodeling does not do the work they claim. They just take your money and then make petty excuses for not showing up to work. They take your money up front and then disappear. Please look up 5-H Remodeling in San Antonio , TX . The phone number is the same as this one, so they are one in the same. There are several reviews there that you need to read if you are even thinking of doing business with this company.

Provided by YP.comIt's too bad we didn't see this review in August, when my friend's father and I both entered into separate contracts with 5-H Remodeling. We looked them up on the BBB but there was no information about them (bad or good). Between us, we lost $26,000.00 to this business and we are (sadly) finding out, we are definitely not the only ones.

Provided by YP.comhe took my money for a remodeling job at my house and has never completed the work. he keeps using different excuses.

Provided by YP.comScott Hardin took a large down payment. Work on my home started several months ago, and how he has every excuse in the book why he cannot come back to finish. He has destroyed my yard with unfinished digging. He ignores phone calls and refuses to accept responsibility for damages.

Provided by YP.comDo not do business with 5-H Remodeling, aka: 5-H Builders and Hardin Builders.
Scott Hardin signed a contract to complete a room addition, took $7000, and all I got was 3 days (and that's being generous) worth of work from his 1- and 2-man crew between 8/2/2007 and 9/18/2007. Since 9/18/2007, nobody has been to work on my room addition and numerous requests for a refund have gone ignored by Scott Hardin, his wife, Angie Hardin (who is on record as the owner of 5-H Remodeling, according to the BBB), Jerry Webb, and their attorney. It is a big mistake to trust this business. Do not give them any money.

Provided by YP.comScott Hardin came into my home; signed a contract for remodeling to my home. Came out for three days and abandoned his work took approx. 18,000.00 dollars. It has been over six months and he refuses my calls and hired a lawyer to avoid refunding me my monies or finishing the job. DO NOT GET SCAMMED BY THIS CONTRACTOR!!!!!!!
