Where do I begin. In The Waiting Room, Their was so many patients that it was standing room only. That is ridiculous! In one of the top states and country, that has the worst percentage of Covid cases and deaths. This office doesn’t follow CDC recommendations. In a small waiting room their was more than 20 patients waiting. The 2nd, CDC recommendation for a pandemic that has killed almost 5k in Bexar county alone, is they have an optional Mask wearing policy for there employees,. Starting with the receptionist that is covered by plexiglass had no mask. Thankfully the Doctor was wearing a mask but, not one of his assistant/nurses.
Something I did notice was that every single patient that walked in to this office were wearing Masks. Thx Every1
What I wish would’ve happened, is before I made this appointment
(3 months prior) I should have been told about their lack of concern for their patients. That way I could’ve made my own choice to put myself in that predicament. It’s really too bad because in years past, I liked their complete and comprehensive examination.
I will unfortunately not return to this Optometrist office because of this concern.
