Provided by SuperpagesAmorcito's is another Mexican restaurant in a city of Mexican restaurants. What sets Amorcito's apart is their use of fresh ingredients and their lunch menu. All of their vegetables apear to be fresh, not frozen or canned. Their lunch menu offers something for all tastes. The only negatives we could find about eating at Amorcito's were their table salsas (the red one is served warm and the green one is just garlic in flavor) and the early ending time of their breakfast service. An 11:00 AM breakfast end is acceptable for week days but is way too early for weekends. Dulce Vita, right around the corner, offers weekend brunch until noon, Blanco Cafe, also around the corner, serves breaklfast all day and Aldaco, also in the general vacinity, offers brunch until 3:00 on weekends! Amorcito is definitely loosing breakfast business to their competitors.

Provided by YP.comNice decor, service was good, but the food just wasn't very good. My wife's salmon salad appears to have just been thrown together. Some of the lettuce was not fresh enough to be served, the core of the lettuce was in her salad along with a piece of the stem that holds the tomato to the vine. I had a Mahi Mahi dish with no real flavor and my crisp cool side salad was put on the hot plate next to the entree which just doesn't pass the food presentation test for me. In short, just not worth the money and with so many good Mexican restaurants in San Antonio, Amorcito's was mediocre at best.
