I have studied the Bible for almost 50 years with over 30 of that in the ministry. It was my privilege to be introduced to Ariel Ministries at a prophecy conference in 1979. This was soon after I had left seminary where I had sat under the some of the same professors that Dr. Fruchtenbaum has studied with during his time at Dallas Theological Seminary and later some who had been his professors. Those some of them were critical of his stance on certain areas of prophecy they did not offer a better explanation of the issue. For almost 20 years I met a number of people, both scholars and those in the pews, who were aware of his teaching and they seemed to be mostly skeptical of his offering.

In the last ten years there has been a major change in what I have been hearing. I have seen Dr. Fruchtenbaum's writings on many pastor's shelves and his writings quoted in many of the articles that I have read.

It has been my privilege to host Dr. Fruchtenbaum in my home and the churches that I have pastored. For the last fourteen years I have served as the Protestant Chaplain at a California State Prison. Arnold has, on three occasions, delivered seminiars on the Word of God to the inmates at the prison. His materials are the most popular of all that they can obtain from the chapel libraries.
