I was told by billing dept that my child can not have medically necessary mri of brain unless I paid hundreds of dollars up front or pay them a bunch of hundred dollar post dated checks. I have neither. I tried to make payment arrangements that are reasonable and they refused. They were very callous and cold. They placed me on long holds and even hung up on me. They told me they have to have the money(This is with my health insurance)or no mri for my child. My son's medical needs were turned away by Baptist Imaging billing dept because even with insurance they wanted several hundreds of dollars that I don't have. They refused my child's need for mri of brain.
