This is the best locally owned family business auto repair facility I have visited in San Antonio. I brought my 08 GMC Sierra in for a transmission fluid and filter change the way we used to do it before the "Big Box" shops convinced everyone that a transmission flush works just as well. They dropped the pan and when we looked at the magnet there was more metal than there should have been (indicating some excessive transmission wear). All Right Transmission walked me through my options and explained the pros and cons for each. Being that I plan to keep this truck for a long time to come; I authorized them to find out what was going on in the transmission. They contacted my warranty, handled the paperwork, fixed my transmission with high quality parts, and had me back on the road in a very acceptable time frame. They are great to work with and they help explain every step of the process. I highly recommend them for major work or even your standard fluid changes. Great team to work with!

I was visiting in SA when my transmission starting acting up and I noticed the little light was on. Not paying any attention to my car's needs, as usuall, I continued to drive it. Later that day I called Allright Transmission just to ask some questions. Bruce was very informative and explained that I could be causing major damage to not only the trans but to the engine also? Wow? He told me to come in and he would check it out for me. I was very leary because I am a single mom and often get taken advantage by "salesmen" due to my lack of knowledge. When I showed up at the shop he greeted me and took my car for a short road test, he pulled it into the bay and then did a full inspection for me! It turns out it was just a sensor that went bad and the damage was minimal! Thank Goodness, these are hard times and I was not prepared to spend the money for a new transmission right before Christmas. I WOULD LIKE TO THANK BRUCE very much for helping me without taking advantage of my situation. It's people like you that remind me to treat people as I would want to be treated! THANK YOU BRUCE!
