Have used them for catering large company events with over 250 people spread out over two shifts. They have a number of things to pick from but the overall favorite is the Three Meat Plate, with potato salad, beans, bread, jalapenos, iced tea, and pies and cheesecake. We have had various celebration dinners, but our employees love them best of all. They love the taste of the food and they love how quickly they are served. I love their effeciency in serving, their courteousness, their willingness to meet our needs, and at this last event, the extra touches they made to make it the greatest catering event for our employees. Looking back, I can remember when looking for a caterer and seeing their name, I only thought they did hamburgers out on Austin Hwy. I took a chance went by, tasted the food, decided to use them, and our employees loved it so much I have kept using them and will continue to do so.

Great food and a San Antonio landmark

Our family loves sunday lunch at Bun N Barrel. The have juicy hamburgers, delicious seafood, and tasty barbecue beef, ribs or chicken. And the side dishes are to die for - crispy hand battered onion rings, creamy cole slaw, ranch beans and home style potato salad. Best of all, nothing on the menu is above $9.00 and many items are below $5.00.
