When I first starting going to this store, I so enjoyed it. Because it is not on my side of town, I did not get here very often. When they offered the service of a designer, years ago, I made an appointment for this lady to come to my home to help with color choices. She never showed up nor did she call. When I followed up, the store never called me back. The last time that I ever walked in that store was the day that I was cheated out of an item. When walking around, I found a beautiful, vintage writing desk set. I took it to the front desk and asked the lady to hold it for me. She said sure. Two ladies came in behind me and saw the item at the counter. The next thing I knew, the lady at the front desk told me that the item had been on lay-a-way and was on the floor, by mistake. Trust me, there was no indication on the item, saying that it was sold or on hold. The two women were smirking and not doing too much to hide their glee! I walked out & have never been back! Business as usual?
