Dominion pediatric dentistry is great!

If you want professional yet compassionate care then this place is it. My son has several medical issues which has left him leary of some healthcare situations/ settings. He needed extensive dental work and after a less than desirable experience with a local pediatric clinic in Boerne we tried Dominion pediatric dentistry. Dr. Renee, Ashley and the ENTIRE staff go above and beyond to earn his trust and make him feel completely comfortable. I really feel they treat him as if he were their own child. She took all the time needed to answer any questions and explain my son's plan of care with me which involved dental surgery at the hospital. She did amazing work for my son and he had absolutely NO pain after! And she placed a resin crown on his top front tooth which I was told by the other dental office was not an option b/c they only make metal crowns for the front teeth. Now he loves going to the dentist. They are fantastic, highly recommend!

This place is WONDERFUL!! Thi...

This place is WONDERFUL!! This was my first time taking my child to the dentist due to the fact that she was so nervous and would probably not have allowed treatment. But all the techs and Doctors were awesome. It was all about my child. They explained everythng to my child prior to doing it. They allowed her to hold the equipment and test it first. They gave prizes and have flavored latex gloves, balloon, special character tooth brushes. Lobby is totally kid friendly. My child loved it and had minimal apprehension. Thank you Dominion Pediatrics for great service!

Has your child ever begged you not leave the dentist? Impossible you say? Not at our office. It could be our gentle touch and special way with kids. Dr. “Susie”, Dr. “Courtney”, Dr “Renee”, Dr. Lin, and staff love children and are specially trained to put them at ease. As parents we understand the importance of our children being comfortable. We teach your children the proper way to take care of their teeth; but just as important, they learn that going to the dentist can be fun. In the same way that pediatricians are trained to meet a child’s medical needs, our pediatric dentists are uniquely qualified to protect your child’s oral health, using the most advanced techniques…and all in our delightfully friendly open area! Pediatric dentists have an additional 2-3 years of training at university pediatric facilities in addition to four years of dental school and four years of college study. The learn how to deal with behavioral aspects of children, how to make them feel comfortable, and to make the experience pleasant. They are also trained and qualified to treat special needs patients.
