Worst patient care ever experienced. They make you pay $40 co-pay just for them to confirm results. They wouldn't call me at my request. Then had to wait 2.5 weeks for them to give me my prescription information after I had to call them on four different occasions. Glad they are worried about your liver disease. Also, the doctor won't meet with you, he sends his medical assistant. They made me get the same lab work done that another doctor had me do literally one month prior. After they gave me prescription they called 3.5 months later to confirm next appointment with the assistant and then ask if I had any more lab work done. They "supposedly" sent me documents to get MORE lab work done but never received it. IF you are looking for labwork, why wait till my scheduled appointment to ask for it? They don't followup with their patients, I have had to spend $1300 in co-pay for lab work (and I have CIGNA insurance), they are not timely, the lady at the front desk was rude, and they only care about the money in their pocket versus their patient. 4 months to schedule an appointment yet I have an infectious disease. Doing your due diligence aren't you Dr. Lawitz? One rip off after another. I will travel to Austin (an hour away) before I give them another dime. You have been advised. Texas Liver Institute is a joke.
