This is an AWESOME center! The place smells clean and always has homecooked meals, and my kids love it! It is family owned and run, when I say that it is ment in every way, they got Grandpa and Grandma who help take care of the kids and come to play, all the staff are Tias and you cant help but feel the love that this family shares with eachother and the ladies who run this place are GOD SENT, they are so willing to help everyone! The director Ms Lani always has a warm smile in the mornings and before you leave she will wave and say "have a good day" and even at the end of the day no matter how busy she is she will make it a point to say "have a good evening" I was recomended to this center by friends who no longer live in San Antonio, their babies where one of the first to be taken care of, this family took care of them as their own and they are doing the same with my 2 boys. If you are looking for a center in this area just walk into this place you will feel the love this place has to offer and you will know your kids are just as love and safe as in your own home! Fantasy Land Daycare the Absolutely Worst Daycare I have ever dealt with. I don’t & will not ever recommend this daycare to anyone who loves & cares for their kids enough to let them be in this type of facility. Their address is On 1808 Thompson Pl San Antonio, TX 78226 (210) 434-4551. They started that daycare on 06/22/12 I have had several incidence that have happen since my kids have started this daycare. The main lady that runs this Daycare has always belittled me & treated me like if I was a two year old. I have called her on the different incidence that have happen & she has told me that she would take care of it. But most of them had to do with her kids that she always puts before any of the other student which is only natural those are her kids but it is not fair to the rest of the kids especially because she runs this daycare. Her mother & father also are there & her brother that visits her mother on different occasions. I have asked her who these different people because her brother really scared my 2 year old because she has never seen him there before & she responded to me it’s my brother he visits my brother from time to time. I also have called her because my son has come home with his underwear’s soiled. I ask my son did you ask them to clean you and he said yes but they never came so I just put on my pants & went to play. On another occasion my son & daughter came home full of mosquito bites & I called her & she said yeah a lot of kids got bit so we are not taking them outside anymore. I was so scared because the West Nile virus was causing death toll now ... was killing people. So it just became a constant circle that has been going on since they have started this daycare. Every time I would call her she always gave me an answer with an attitude. I would always just say to myself maybe she just having a bad day. Another reason I have let my children who I care & love very much still go there was because it was more convenient for my mother in-law & sister In-law to pick them up for me when I was running late or had to work during the night hours. Until 10/09/12 I took them to Daycare & as soon As I swipe my card to put in their previous day check out she said to me very sarcastically do you have a note. I told her no they are only 2 minutes late. That was on the card reader that I entered the previous day on. She then told me I don’t have to except your kids. I responded and told her that is up to you if you want to accept my kids or not. She then responded to me & ok then you can take them home today. I then told her why you are so rude she told me because you are always making faces & have an attitude.I then told her is that even professional on your part as a daycare instructor? She then got very upset & told me that I have to leave. I called later on during that day to inform her that my kids were going to be late the next day. She told me I called the kids grandmother & told them that you are not allowed to Pick up or drop off the kids. I then called my mother In-law to ask her if the daycare had called her & she told yes she said that you cannot take the kids anymore that you are not allowed there, Because I had said the {f word} there is no way in god’s name that I would ever talk to anyone who takes care of my kids like that. I have work for Citibank for 7 years as a personal banker & I now work for a limousine company for several years. I am always professional when it comes to dealing with people weather they are on my level or not. I always give the same respect.
