At Galen College of Nursing, nursing is all that we teach. Your success is all that matters. It’s a unique educational experience we call Pure Nursing. What’s better is that your hands-on clinical training begins in weeks, not months and general education requirements are included in the nursing curriculum, so no prerequisites are necessary to begin your nursing education. We offer a Day/Evening Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN) Program, and an LVN-RN Bridge Program with convenient online options available to streamline your education. Galen is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award Associate Degrees (SACS). Galen College of Nursing San Antonio is also nationally accredited by the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education and is approved by the Texas Board of Nursing. We also offer a low student-to-faculty ratio and classes begin four times a year (not just two) so that when you’re ready, so are we. Classes fill quickly, so don’t delay!
