Fantastic place to buy all of your collectibles needs in San Antonio. Dan and Rob both went out of their way to turn a disbeliever into a believer! They managed to find some very rare hard to find items for us. They went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. This review is long overdue on my end. I can honestly say, if you cannot seem to find what you need, simply ask for Dan or Rob and they will go out of the way to find what you need! I am a very happy satisfied customer that will continue to spend money locally with Hero’s and Fantasies! Great service! Thanks again Dan and Rob!

Everytime I go there, everyone looks like they are angry except for one girl with glasses. She seems to be the only happy person in that store. I have a problem with the two fat guys by the card section. They always seem like they are angry, whenever you ask them questions, or request help, they sigh and look like they don't want to be there. The only time that I've ever got them to cooperate with me was when someone was supervising them, which is the only time that I see them smile and offer me any help. In the front of the store at the registers they also seem pretty angry. Someone from Heroes and Fantasies might try to claim that I am giving a review that is not deserved, but you can ask anyone who goes there, they would agree with me. I don't don't think I will be going back there until Heroes and Fantasies gets some new employees taking over rather than having angry employees who make you not want to purchase anything. I would suggest staying away from this place unless you really desperately want something. I wish I could put zero stars on here.

My boyfriend and I visited this store on a recent trip to San Antonio. We collect vintage (1950s-1970s) comic books, and this store has a selection like no other! Adam (the store manager, I think) helped us out personally, and made sure to help me find exactly what I was looking for. Their prices are fair, and he even cut me a small deal for purchasing over $100 worth of books. We will be returning as soon as we are back in Texas. Thanks again!
