Second time I tried this guy. He said the same thing as last time, "I can't find the part, and it would cost more to repair than the set is worth. That'll be $35." Sounds like he just collects a fee and never does anything to fix the set. You have to call him even though he says he will call you within a set time and then has the same lame excuse.

When I called J&M I told them my problem. After a short pause I was asked to please hold on while he checked something out. I thought it was going to be another we don't make house call and it will be $100 bucks to check out the TV. However, I was very surprised, they knew exactly what the problem was but they wanted to chek to see if there was still a recall by the manufacture and that they would call me back. This was amazing, not only was he taking time to check out my problem with the manufacture he was checking to see if he could fix it for free. I was called back and was told there was a recall issued and the manufacture had just extended to time frame of the recall. J&M came to my house and within 30 minutes fixed my TV and it was on the manufacture. Other companies I called did not take the time to check on anything and were only interested in me bringing my 52 inch flat screen to their shop and the money to look at my set. J&M was a pleasant surprise they were courtieous, prompt, and very knowledgeable. I would recommend them to anyone, anytime. Great customer service.
