I was disappointed in some of the quality of the food I ordered, which was the La Fonda #1 plate. The cheese in the enchilada was one big unmelted brick and the tamale was dry and not well seasoned. When I tried cutting the enchilada, it was not soft as one would expect. The guacamole salad was acceptable and the carne guisada was good as well as the corn tortillas. But, when I mentioned the problem to the staff, they were already aware of the cheese clumping problem but hoped I would return. I found that unacceptable.

Service is very poor. 15min just to get my tea ordered. And 30min just for someone to take our food order. Passed by a few times by server and no acknowledgement what's so ever.

I just LOVE this restaurant! They have some of the best Mexican food and watch out for their margaritas!!!! Great atmosphere and some of the best wait staff to include...Rosie, Janie, Virginia, and Richard, just to name a few. If you have never been here....you must go!!!!!

If you have never been to La Fonda at Oak Hills - you must go. They have the best Mexican food and their Margaritas are great also! Ask for Rosie, Janie, or Virginia and they will take good care of you!

This is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants to go to with friends! Very nice and family oriented! Check it out!
