Lamson Institute is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) as a branch location of Institute for Business and Technology, Santa Clara, California. ACCSC is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally-recognized accrediting agency. Lamson is also accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET). ACCET is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency. Lamson Institute is approved and regulated by the Texas Workforce Commission, Career Schools and Colleges Section, Austin, Texas. Lamson holds a Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) Certificate to operate a career school in the state of Texas. Lamson's Electrician Program is approved by the Dept. of Apprenticeship Standards - Electrician Certification Unit. Students in the program are eligible to receive their Electrician Trainee's (ET) Card while they are in school. Lamson's CRHAC program is affiliated with ESCO Institute and the CRHAC program offers Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certification. Lamson's Medical Assisting program is affiliated with the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT). All accreditation and licensing materials are on display in the school's lobby.
