Douglas MacArthur High School operates under the North East Independent School District. The school offers classes to students in grades nine through 12. It provides instruction to students in various academic areas, including foreign languages, science, social studies, special education, career technology, English, fine arts and math. Douglas MacArthur High School offers several clubs and student organizations, such as athletic boosters, band, chess club, choir, drama club, media and robotics clubs, forensics, spirit groups, orchestra, and French and German clubs. The school organizes a variety of sporting activities, including softball, football, wrestling, volleyball, aquatics, cross country, golf, baseball, basketball and soccer.
